Taxi's are cheap and plentiful, North Pattaya is a lot quieter than South Pattaya, highly recommended for families with small children.

Pattaya is a very nice touristic place
fantastic sea food, but check the price and get it fixed before you enter a good restaurant otherwise when you see the bill
you can forget immediately the taste of the food.

Pattaya is a playground for men. Many bars and women who are more than willing to be your companion for the day. I was a little turned off at the overt solicitations on my husbands with me standing right next to him ( at first it was amusing but after a while, it is alittle rude )

The hotel offered no tours to me as a guest! All literature was written in German so had there been anything on offer I would have remained oblivious to the fact! The clock in reception which was supposed to give the time in London was never working until I complained, then it was set at the incorrect time and their excuse was we don't have english guests, so why bother! This is one english guest they will never have again!

There are a big golden buddha and the Pattaya tower near the hotel. The Pattaya tower is around 240m high. Whole Pattaya can be seen at the top of the tower. The tower has cable-car to take visitors to the beach. Visitors can also ADRENALINE FLOW to the ground. It is interesting to jump out from 170m high tower.

Pattaya itself very very busy. Not the ideal holiday destination if you want peace and quiet, but a shopper's paradise. Not the best place to go for those easily offended!

Most seafood restaurants by the beach serve fresh seafood. Reasonable priced.
