Stayed at  Novotel Manchester Centre - Manchester, United Kingdom.
There is a lively China Town, excellent value at the "Pacific Restaurant". There are a lot of good places to eat, great movie theatres and everything is accessible by walking.

A Koulakoglou 15 November 2001
Stayed at  Best Western Paddington Court Hotel & Suites - London, United Kingdom.
It was not my first time in London, but autumn is the best time to walk in the Hyde Park. Also so many plays to go and see. I love Leicester Square.

K Jones 11 October 2001
Stayed at  Radisson SAS Hotel Manchester Airport - Manchester, United Kingdom.
Manchester is small, simple airport.

I Cringle 10 August 2001
Stayed at  Britannia Adelphi - Liverpool, United Kingdom.
I stayed only overnight because of the ferry connection with the Isle of Man, but found it easy to wander around central Liverpool-a city not usually associated with tourism. The look of the place has certainly improved over the years with the Tate Gallery and development on the Albert Docks a definite boost. The centre however seemed dead once the shops had closed.
