Dalat is quite pretty but in order to appreciate all there is around effortlessly - trust the vietnamese motorbike guides. We found a couple of charming gentleman who showed us around at very reasonable cost. Names were Mr Titi and Mr Thiet - look out for them.

If you want to play a round of golf go for the twilight USD 25 rental charge included rather than paying 85.

Due to its location in the mountains, Dalat has a very nice climate, unlike the unbearable temperatures (at times) in the rest of Vietnam.
It's the perfect spot to take one or two days of rest, when cruising through Vietnam.
In general, the Vietnamese people seem to be very excited about visiting the various waterfalls, lakes and parks in the vicinity of Dalat. In the eyes of most Europeans, however, they aren't very impressive.

Delat is one of the most picturesque destinations in Vietnam, and I have travelled extensively in Vietnam. Make time to visit Delat!

Just join Huong Xuan Tour (Sinh Cafe II). They are well organized. For $8 USD, you get a full day tour to see 2 waterfalls, a Buddist temple, a Minority Village (Chicken Village), a Crazy House and the last emperor's summer place(Bao Dai's)
