Stayed at  Hai Yen Hotel - Hoi An, Vietnam.
The main attraction in this destination are the suits tailors.

Hoi An has a lot to offer. The old town is very nice to walk around, but we also rented bikes to go to the beach and visited the ruines of My Son. It is a nice place to visit for at least 4 days.

C Nguyen 09 November 2002
Stayed at  Vinh Hung 1 - 2 - 3 - Hoi An, Vietnam.
Most if not all points of interest (the Old Quarter, internet cafe) are conveniently located within walking distances of the hotel.

T Dall 12 October 2002
Stayed at  Hoi An Hotel - Hoi An, Vietnam.
Interesting history but touristy. Best time to appreciate the town's beauty is after the Tam Tam bar has closed for the night and the streets are free of people.

C Reddy 03 October 2002
Stayed at  Hoi An Hotel - Hoi An, Vietnam.
The only problem was that the airport was not in Hoi An.

Stayed at  Hoi An Hotel - Hoi An, Vietnam.
Hoi An is quite touristy. In fact, it's like a European resort with a Vietnamese staff. Most of the post card kids are aggressive and some are malicious. If you have been to Angkor Wat, don't bother to go to My Son.

N Bigbie 27 August 2002
Stayed at  Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort - Hoi An, Vietnam.
Hoi An is fantastic - it's got a bit of everything: great atmosphere, interesting sights, charming streets, lovely river, nice restaurants, great shopping & tailoring. The proximity to the beach is wonderful. After walking hours in extreme heat and 89% humidity, it was heaven to throw oneself into the sea!

J Nash 27 August 2002
Stayed at  Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort - Hoi An, Vietnam.
The nearby town of Hoi An is a jewel that needs to be explored as it is so unique. Dinner at the Mermaid and an after dinner drink at the Tam Tam Bar.

Stayed at  Hoi An Hotel - Hoi An, Vietnam.
Hoi An is very lovely. The beaches here are beautiful--I was surprised by how nice they were relative to the attention they get. Rent bikes and ride to the beach for a very pleasant day (but do be prepared to attract many hawkers).

A Harrower 14 July 2002
Stayed at  Hoi An Hotel - Hoi An, Vietnam.
The hotel is ideally located - a 10 minute walk from the centre of Hoi An, which is a fascinating place to visit. Bikes can be hired very cheaply from the gate of the hotel and are a great way of exploring the area.
